The Heart of Our Community

The Library is, in many ways, the heart of our City, providing something for everyone. It is so much more than a place to find books. It is an indispensable space - both physical and virtual - for anyone who wants to feed his or her intellectual curiosity. The Library supports our youngest citizens develop fundamental literacy and cognitive skills. It encourages our youth to pursue their unique intellectual interests. And it offers adult patrons opportunity for life-long educational, recreational and cultural enrichment.  The Library is a space where every member of our community can thrive.

A little bit about the Foundation.
Founded in 2010 by a group of concern citizens, the West Linn Library Foundation is a non-profit committed to promoting support and financial assistance to the West Linn Library. Donors' collective investments have enhanced the Library's collections, programs and facilities, including the Library's recent renovation of the children's area and teen rooms. The Foundation's long-term goal is to create sustaining financial support so that the Library will remain a vital and vibrant part of life in West Linn for generations to come.

The ability to communicate in more than one language is a valued and necessary tool. Working in concert with the West Linn School District to support our students, the Library seeks to increase its collection of Mandarin Chinese books for our youngest patrons, preschool through elementary school age.
